After the Dynamat comes the Dynaliner which is a thermo-acoustic foam that blocks heat and reduces road noise. Extremeliner used in front footwells is a heavy duty 4-layer barrier to reflect high heat areas.
<<< Almost done. As with the Dynamat, the Dynaliner had to be cut to suit and glued down using spray on auto trim adhesive. I think the newest product has a self-adhesive backing.
Console in and carpet down. Had to remount the entire shifter assembly. Now to summarize, we have 4 layers that insulate this car from vibration, noise and heat. 1) Dynamat 2) Dynaliner / Extremeliner 3) jute backing on carpet then 4) carpet itself. So now this car is cool and quiet on the inside while the beast thunders on the outside.
<<< Back seats in and starting to look like a car again!
