26 years old and this Colorado original car still has no rust! Exposed metal areas are just where I was cleaning off factory sealer gunk. Every seam stripped and re-sealed!
<<< First layer of Dynamat applied on the entire floor pan as well as any exposed interior metal panels. Dynamat Xtreme is a high-end acoustical sound deadener and thermal insulation layer that is a peel and stick material. Even the biggest subwoofer won't rattle this car!
Doors were stripped down with two layers of Dynamat Xtreme applied to both the inner skin as well as outer skin.
<<< Doors complete with Dynamat.
Holy crap Batman - this is time consuming! Every piece has to be cut to suit, then rolled down flat with a special roller. Because this stuff (butyl component) can ooze out between the cut seams when it gets hot, aluminum duct tape was applied over all the abutting joints.
