OURMG's 1973 MG MGB Second restoration 2004: I have had many happy miles motoring in Our MG. We take the MG to Watkins Glen to see the vintage races and have a real blast. I've been to the local club's autocross sessions, but I'm not too fast! Cruise nights and mingling with car buddies is my summer pastime. In 2004 Our MG got hit in a parking lot and creased the rear fender! After first fuming and fussing, we decided to get the MG all fixed up and repainted since it had been over 20 years since the rebuild and paint job!
OURMG's 1973 MG MGB Here she is the day I got her back from D & M Superfinish with a fresh paint job in Glacier White August 2004. It is the same shop that did the sheet metal repair 20 years ago. This is the side that was hit.

OURMG's 1973 MG MGB September 2006 OUR MG had an accident - Just before labor day, I was pulling into a cruise night, when a car ran the stop sign across from me, hit broadside by another car, and pushed into our MG. I and a friend are unhurt, since we were stopped at the time. Nobody was hurt, but the MG steering was wrecked. The damage was mostly to the drivers front fender, valence, trim and front bumper, including major damage to the rack and steering tie rods. The car was repaired and is back to like new, as of the end of October! Here's a before and after repair view:

Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you. Very clean, Great effort best ride. 5*

Hi, this is my first time at this website. You have a very nice website about your "old girl". I also have a 1973 MG, & I am in the process of restoring it. Would you know of how I could purchase an original sales brochure for this car?

Thank you,
J.

Hi you 2...nice "B".
Great pictures. I have a question about how you treated the underside of the bonnet (hood). What material if any, or what type of paint? (just regular black engine paint - high temp ?
I own a 75, and the hood liner is pretty tattered. I was impressed how clean your's looks. Any suggestions ?
Thanks, and safe motoring,

David
