Some people have asked me why I would spend so much on a Miata. There are other choices out there; the Corvette, Boxster, Z4, S2000 and SLK. Well to answer that I am in the Army so my income isn't exactly stellar and the Miata is paid off. I would only spend around 15K and have a car that could keep pace in most situations. My goal is a comfortable tame car when daily driven and a beast that can knock down the high dollar cars when let loose on the track.
