googsride's 1966 Volvo 122 This is a picture of my car. Just bought it in November of 2003. Needs some work done before it looks nice again. I'm going to work on it when ever I have time. I'll post up some pic's for all to see. Tell me what you think, some fresh ideas would be appreciated. I'm going to post more pictures as I start to fix the car so come back once in awhile. Thanks _Grant

Reply: I you want a great used bike get a pre 2004 CBRF4i they can be had for $5k (02s). The newer version has a big ugly but comfortable banana seat. If you want comfort then get the newer F4i. The Suzuki GXSR750 is the best all around middle weight (Cycle World), you can keep it for years and keep up with the big 1000. A fast 600, the Yamaha R6.

Nice car! I'm going through the same with my '65. You should contact George Swift (volvogeorge@yahoo.com) in Alameda and have him give the car a $100 once-over. He'll let you know absolutely everything the car needs (he knows those cars liek the back of his hand), even if you do the work yourself. He's also tied into the Volvo clubs and the restoration community. Tell him Cormac from LA sent you. Good luck and keep us posted!

I've got a 1966 122S that has been completely refurbished. Check it out, might help you with some ideas. I'm glad to see others that love the car as much as i do.
