Finally have a car! (I finally realize that because this is an old car the work will never be complete) always something to add or fix.

Bought this from my friend scott who now has a 69 roadrunner.

*leaky seal on radiator neck seal
*Fuel gauge nonfunctional/new float assembly in tank, possibly need a new wire ran.

-Will trade for a wrx sti, evo, talon, eclipse. basically anything nice...with a 5spd and a turbo!

Installed new stereo , Pioneer Deh-1600. 50wx4 22xrmsx2, Mosfet, cd-r, cd-rw.

installed New headers and new glasspacks. will be getting straight pipe to run exhaust all the way to back.

New front bearings. left and right. Inside and out. determined need new rotor on left side. Also recently found out from engine VIN that its a 400sb not a 350.

Had the block honed. Test fit crank and rod bearings. need to purchase 10 over bearings. crank has already been machined 10 under.

Extreme energy cam and lifter kit installed. Claimer flat top racing pistons installed. Say goodbye to dish.

Engine block repainted with gloss black. New pics soon of front end frame and firewall resprayed in black also. Front light harness and engine wiring harness on the way.

Purchased loads of new parts. Edelbrock pro series high riser valve covers, chrome timing cover, jegs chrome water pump, jegs chrome 100amp alternator, high vol. oil pump, fram high perf oil filter, radiator hoses, and belts. Will install a lot of this tomorrow after we set the valves.

Engine went back in car. All new parts been installed as mentioned previously. also Turbo flex 18" fan and an edelbrock 750 cfm auto choke performer series carburetor. Installing fuel lines and other vacuum line plumbing now. Wiring harness and drivers side inner fender in mail. Double roller power steering pulley and billet mounting bracket $85 picking up thursday from Jegs.

Reinstalled heaterbox and blower. added puddy to seal it up. Installed new power steering bracket and power steering billet double roller pulley. Engine harness on backorder. wont be here for 1 to 2 more weeks. Got the new dash resprayed in black. Replaced gauge cluster into new plastic gauge shroud thats NOT broken this time. reinstalled that into new dash. We cut out slot for the pioneer head unit again since i didnt enjoy it enough the 1st time around. Went well though with the dremel and fits snug. Also added support bracket in the rear so its not going anywhere. Going to reinstall tomorrow. Also we fixed some frayed , split, disconnected wires behind the dash.

3/22/05
Dash went back in the 20th. looks nice. Yesterday bolted back up the driver fender and metal inner fender well. Other inner fender well for passenger side should be here in a few days. Put back on the front end minus the bumper so far. Will install the bumper, radiator, fan shroud, and radiator hoses today. I ordered an Audiobahn a8002t amplifier and 2 12" audiobahn subs 800pk, 400rms. Also ordered rockford fosgate 4ga amp kit and an Audiobahn digital volt meter.

Put some of the front end together today. Set in radiator and top bracket plate to hold it in. Installed fan shroud. Ran new radiator hoses and rehooked up transmission cooling lines. Filled it up with fluids also. Front bumper not on yet but cleaned it up earlier and used chrome polish on it to brighten it up some and fill some scratches. Its far from brand new but does not look to bad.

Nothing big today just polished up front bumper some more and put it back on the front end. Amp and Subs got here today except that no one answered the door. Grrr!

The Audiobahn A8002T Amp, and pair of Audiobahn AW1251T's 12" subs arrived. The Rockford Fosgate amp wiring kit came today as well as the Audiobahn Digital Volt Meter. Installed the digital volt meter by the side of the auto gauge cluster. Since nothing else to do and to prepare for wiring harness arrival i ran the 4ga power wire all the way from front battery area to the trunk. had about a foot and a half of cable by the time i got to trunk. damn my cars long! also ran the connection for the DVM and Remote turn on lead, and also the RCA cables to the trunk. While i was at it also cleaned a lot of loose debri out from under rear seat and vaccumed dirt and crud out of there. Still no sign of the wiring harness and its been a month now! this is a bit rediculous.

Called today and it looks like finally the wiring harness for the engine and front end has been shipped. the guy said it should be here tomorrow or friday at the latest. im really hoping for tomorrow though. Dare i say we started construction of the speaker enclosure for my two 12"s. Got 3 sides on. have to put on back yet and the sides. then jig saw'n out holes for subs and terminals tomorrow. Car should be running within the next two days :o. I almost cant believe it. its been almost a year and a half now. finally it will see the light of day.

Engine harness came in and front headlight harness came in. Those are installed now. Front end and hood are all together. The car runs now. did ya hear that...it RUNS. Gahh its so beautiful. Also replaced the fudged tranny detent cable and new set of wires. Purchased a Elite series matching air filter as well. Took it out for the first time up and down our street. Need to get tags and it will be driving here soon. Next step is bondo work on the right front fender and then paint in next few weeks. Id have more pictures but our digi cam is broken and have to keep borrowing friends. ill work on it though. Also the Subwoofer box is complete and carpetted. Subs are in and amp is in car. All hooked up and working well. Bass hits hard! haha. pics later. Cant wait to drive this thing! :O

Well got the dash lights working. its nice to be able to see how fast your going at night. and today we got some new rims and tires. Cragar SS's. Real nice looking. Painting and interior are going to be done in the next few weeks.

IT has a paintjob now. its crazy! Midnight Blue and Blue Pearl stripes. i managed to break my deh-1600 so i went all out and got a kenwood kdc-mp928 4096 color OEL screen. woo! i got new audiobahn 6x9's for the rear and a remote blue underbody neon kit. all on the way. deck is arriving tomorrow. cant wait.

Im adding pictures of the deck now and underbodies now that they are installed. its been done for awhile but havent got around to adding pictures. i also installed a 2 way fm paging car alarm with bright blue flashing led. I ordered the previous weekend a Halo Headlight conversion kit so i can use standard H4 bulbs instead of sealed beam units.
