Here is what I started with about ten years ago. This car came from alabama in 92 so the body was free of major rust. greezemonkey's 1985 Chevrolet Camarogreezemonkey's 1985 Chevrolet Camaro

The "machine" is no stranger to engine replacments there were 2 different 350`s, second one with a carb. The tpi held it back at 330 horespower, so the tpi system was sold and a carb was bought with the funds.....an amplifier now lives were the ecm sat. Here is a picture of the last small block the lived in it

It was a 408 cid with sportman 200cc heads, went 12.60`s on general xp 2000`s with a stock converter and 3.27 9 bolt!

The 408 lived happily until One of my body and paint friends wanted to horse trade some labor to save the machine from the the salvage yard...The "rust belt effect" had started and it was Now or Never, so the
408, now removed from the car, went to louie and work began on the restoration.

new emblems, bezels, mouldings, handles

car was completely stripped and all parts were painted indivdually

the color applied is stock to 86 camaro`s (red carmine) base coat, clear coat.

Dude the exhaust system looks killer, i'm in the process of trying to pick the correct setup for mine. Great job all around, definitely 5 star.
