this is what i had to do to get rims to fit.some caprice have the axle that sit foward and mine was one.it scrubbed with the 295/30/22 because tires were not centered in fender well in the rear.i had to buy upper/lower trailing arms(metco trailing arms or hotchkis)also helps with wheelhop for those who like to smoke the tires without having the rear axle fill like it's about to jump off the dam car.I also put new shocks&springs on it super firm bilsteinshocks from autozone part#s(front/b46-1104$89.99 rear/b46-0929$54.99).impala94-96 springs are 2" shorter than the caprice springs.so I bought the caprice heavyduty springs so the

rontend would not bottom out on the tires&
to keep that natural ride height look
that monster truck look like some of these dudes wit bubbles. the front srubbs if I turn to far to the left or right.to solve that problem just don't buy any 22"rims for the front wider than 22x8.5.In the rear u can go with a 22x10or22x11.With the kit there are lots of mods. u have to do to your car that the guy who sold me the kit did not tell me i had to do.so if u want that setup get ready to open your wallet.if u want to know about kit install hit my guestbook.

you don't have to do any cutting on rear fender wells or take off molding to get 22's to fit in the rear.if you have the caprice with the axle that sits forward and u want to center u'r tires in the rear fender well here are some web sites where u can get the upper&lower control arms.these are the ones i have on my car(www.metco-inc.com).here's another webb site(www.rksport.com)look for impala ccontrol arms on these sites

install info on caprice bodykit frontside//had to remove bumpercover to get to bumper energy adsorbers to drill holes in the shocks in the energy absorbers.next i had to get a strap with a ratchet to collapse shocks and drain fluid from shocks on the energy absorbers.next make sure u pre-drill the holes on body kit be-4 u paint kit& make sure u test fit kit to car.my bodyshop guy did not do that and drill to many holes in kit.kit was made of a soft polyurethane &was a tight fit over collapsed energy absorber.remember the kit's very soft& did not have enough material where kit connects to fender of
car and when bolted to fender kit will rip on bolts.make sure u install grill on
kit b-4 paint also.if ya running 22's and tires catch on kit go to hardware store and find a metal bar to run bottom of radiator housing to kit to push kit out until tires clear when turning left to right.

it's flat the catch is the factory rear bumper sticks out about 4"s but the after market part is flat so after u remove bumper cover in rear u have to remove the entire bumper energy absorber.once u have
have removed energy absorber prefit kit &drill holes put grill in bumper.make sure kit where truck close is even with truck and u ready to bolt that kit in place.u would think the guy who sold me the kit would have told me all this b-4 selling the kit to me but they didn't.i had to go thru a lot of trail &error &call his ass to find out what to do to get kit to fit.so if u end up buying kit ////beware/// .one more thing i forgot to tell ya in the pictures on there site the rear kit had dual exhaust but when i got the kit there was only one exhaust hole and i had to pay extra to get another 4-1/8"hole in rear fiberglass bumper.price for kit $1200.00////price for install& paint $700.00.that was just one more thing they forgot to tell me.
