Here's an update on the intake porting and throttle body.
Here's a good shot of the lower intake manifold runners. You can see the outline of the gasket we had to match. Yep, dat dar's a whole lotta metal hogged out!
Here's Scott (TsiMiata and locally known as the Mad Scientist) milling the intake manifold to a 4.5" wide gap.
Here's wait it looks like. The next step is to weld the adaptor plate we fabricated so a LT1 throttle body will bolt up.
Of course, we also milled some delrin spacers so the RC Engineering 550 injectors will fit the fuel rail, but I forgot to take pictures of those.
