some one was asking me about the shocks and struts for the 929, and was wandering what is the aftermarket for the 929. the truth is in america their are no companies that manufacture performance 929 suspension parts. only in japan is where the 929(aka ms-9) have a vast amount of aftermarket parts. yes ive run into problems like other 929 owners with the stuts, and i have replaced them. the dealer wanted like $500 for each strut, and a regular suspension shop dont carry them, because the stut and spring are built it. I searched around online for used struts in junk yards, and found a set of four for like $200, and they are still fine to this day. i am still debating if i should lower the car, because the only way is to cut the springs and bumper stops, but that is kinda risky..... but unless your willing to pay $4000 for a suspension kit from japan, cutting the springs, or getting a custom set will be the only option, i hope this clears things up allitle.
