the interior of the car has come along way too. it came without any stereo at all, no speakers either. i have so far installed a clarion 835mp cd player, and made a custom carbon fiber (yes the real stuff) plate that is 1 DIN in size, right below the cd player. in that is a switch for my driving lights, and the boost controller. in the doors (which were mangled by the previous owner) i made my own fiberglass kick plates for infinity kappa 4" speakers and 1" infinity kappa tweeters. homerdoh56's 1987 Porsche 944 I also didn't like the back seat because no one could fit back there, so i removed it and built a custom amp rack. homerdoh56's 1987 Porsche 944
Also in the rear i installed some infinity kappa 6 1/2 speakers with custom plates to fit in the stock 4x6 locations. In the rear compartments i made, i have a MTX 895 5 channel amp. this sucker is huge and it powers all my mids and highs, and soon my sub. I'm not out to shake the world with bass, i wanted an all around clean sound with even bass/mid/high, and i must say it sounds really really good. in the other compartment is a 1 farad cap, homerdoh56's 1987 Porsche 944 a distribution block, and soon a place for my laptop above everything else. the laptop already has a power plug back there, and RCA plugs that go from the laptop to the cd player as an aux in. Also, the laptop is used for navigation, DVD movies and mp3's. The display will be a touch screen 7 in LCD flush mounted into the passenger airbag door. i have already removed the airbag, just waiting for some money to buy the screen.
homerdoh56's 1987 Porsche 944 this is a picture of the A-pillar guages. they are autometer ultra-lite series, A/F ratio gauge and boost gauge. The most recent change to the interior is the momo millenium evo wheel.
