This is the story of two men, a war on terror and a 1979 Porsche 931
The story begins with Nathan, and how he came to own this unique Turbo 924.
Nathan
On or about December 6th 2003, in Germany, Nathan was driving home in his prided Bimmer 530 when some thing caught his attension.

He says he didn't know if it was his "love of cars", or that "it looks like the bat mobile". Maybe is was the BBs rims, but some thing stopped him in his tracks. "I found myself turning around to follow the newly donated car. I had to rescue it from its potential final resting place in the strip yard", he reflects. Alas earlier in the year he spent thousands on the Bimmer, so for now, he set aside the idea of Porsche ownership.
For weeks he frequently visited the car (still dreaming). On one such visit his wife accompanied him.
Had she seen him drooling over the testerosa fins, the rims and the turbo engine? Maybe....

So what is a wife to do? Buy it of course! What a price too... 250 dollars!

Now comes the interesting twist in this Porsches future and the lives of two men worlds apart. Upon delivery of the automobile not all was bliss. Quickly, as in all used car purchases, questions and issues arose. These led Nathan to post a question on a 924/944 board. The posting was titled "overheating". Eric was the only one to respond to Nathans' plea for help. (The original message)
Eric has owned multiple 4 cylinder Porsches over the years. Currently he owns his first car, a 1982 924 that he recently restored. His site Eric's 924 site is dedicated to the 924 series of cars.
