This is my 1973 Jeep CJ5. I played around with the suspension a little bit and this is what I ended up with. It's a spring-over using front springs from a pair of Grand Wagoneers. I also used the full width Dana 44 axles from the wagons. the tires are 36.5 by 14.5 by 15 Ground Hawgs on 15 by 15 chrome rims. It also has a shackle reversal in the front and the wheel base is stretched about 15 inches.

This is just to show how big this thing really is. The headlights are about 50 inches off the ground.

This is my friend Derrick (Rockclimer9)'s 81 Toyota. Check out his site too. This is the after he rolled it frontwards at about 55 mph. He and his dad had the roof cut off and the cage put on within an hour of getting it towed to their shop.

Here's a shot of the rear suspension so you can see the angles. The upper shackle mounts are made from the ends of old leaf springs. The bushings in the ends let it flex more. In the pictures the mounts aren't welded down yet, but they will be soon.

This is the rear suspension so you can see the spring over and the wagon springs
