SOUND INSULATION I didn't want to spend a bunch on insulation and I didn't want something that that stuck to the metal like nobody's business, so I picked up this stuff at Lowes for about $20 a roll. It's like bubble wrap with foil on each side. I was surprised that it conformed and held its new shape very well.
TURN SIGNAL SWITCH REPLACEMENT In order to do this, cut the wires a couple inches from the plug. Attache some line to the old wires so that when you pull out the old switch the line comes through the column so that you can attach it to the new switch and pull your new wires through. Then remove the old wires from the plug and install the new ones, one at a time, matching the wire colors.
TRUNK PAINT I had some better before shots but my son deleted them from the camera.
I didn't run the tail light wiring, so don't gripe to me. I know it's not correct.
