BODY WORK The previous owner had done an amateur job of replacing the driver's side quarter panel. I finally found a shop that would do the work and that I felt would do a good job. I was happy to hear the body shop owner say that the prior job wasn't done terribly, just not with a great attention to detail.
Car on frame rack in shop:
I'm getting the whole car painted just because the body shop will do a professional job at a great price. The entire car will match and look great. They're not doing an Earl Scheib job either; they'll pull door handles and chrome emblems, etc. They're also pulling the rear window, tinting it, and will clean everything up when done. Another bonus is that the shop does quick work. I've heard too many horror stories of cars being in shops for months without any work at all being done.
