I would have done it myself but my stock radio was wired all weird by GM. It was wired with class 2 wiring and everything (door chimes, etc...) was wired into it and I had no idea how to wire it up correctly. Below are some pictures of how it looks now and if you want you can even view some short clips of it moving! Movie 1 - Movie 2 (right click on the link and choose 'save target as' then open it from your hard drive)*DASH FIXED* :)4x6 Door Speakers and 6x9 Rear Deck Speakers:Kicker DX46 and Kicker DX69I removed the 4x6s and went for boston accoustic 6.5 components, MUCH BETTER SOUND!!!I decided to install these myself since it was a little easier to just remove a few screws and bolts than it was to remove the whole dash, so here goes.In the trunk up under the stock speakers, preparing to remove them.Rear panel removed and stock speakers exposed. The rear panel covers the speakers totaly (no grills then) and this helps alot with theft problems, but for changing the speakers we must remove it.Soldering the wires to the new speakers. The solder helps the wires stay together and also helps with the sound quality.One of the new kickers is in there. You can see the difference in the size of the magnet, these are much better than stock. (duh)Soldering the other speaker wires together...Have both new speakers in there and all the wires connected and soldered. Now all thats left is to put it all back together.This is as far as I could get the door panel off. Gonna trade DJ for his red and black bowtie and swap that out too. update, black and red bowtie :) Next I added RK Sport Clear corners, because the yellow corners were really clashing with the red car. After the clear corners came seat covers. I went with seat covers because my car is more a daily driver and racing seats with 4 point harnesses would be a PITA to deal with everyday, and I thought these looked great. Then I purchases RK Sport carbon fiber tail lights. The carbon fiber ones look so much more classy than the chrome ones and Im going for a black / red theme in which I will eventually make it carbon fiber / red. After my accident I bought a z24 bumper with fogs, had the blubs and housings put in but the IDIOT body shop didnt wire them up, so heres wut i did and then the finished product... Stock Bulbs in fogs: Hyper White Bulbs in fogs: New parts that will be installed soon, Koni Reds (struts) and goldline (1.8" drop) springs! DROPPED! :) For now these are the only exterior mods. Just trying to make it look good, nothing fancy yet. It was this way when it was bought. So far I have added clear corners, new tail lights, a headunit, a 6.5in component system, 2 12" subs, and 2 amps. Sign the guestbook and let me know wut you think.
