Lada Sputnik Revolution 1.3 - Fog lights installation

On 22. September 2006 my Sputnik has some new fog lights. And not just ANY foglights, but Hella FF 75. Here you can read the story on how we installed them, and see the relevnt pictures. First ones are a bit bad, they're taken with my mobile, but the last ones are much better as they're taken with my digital camera.

These babies are Hella FF 75 series, but original ones, not "Cool Blue". I bought them on August, or something to install them before the Autumn, because we have some heavy fogs here in Serbia.
Just a kit unwrapped and opened. Details like wiring, connectors, switch were not shot here.
And here are the details on the bulb itself. You can see how the inside and the outside of the light looks like.

Just preparing the car in the workshop.
My friend and mechanic Nebojsa, showing me where the foglights could go. "Nice place, isn't it?" We had other suggestions - further to the outside or the inside, but we finally agreed on this position.
Screwing the holders on the drilled front bumper.
We has loads of trouble taking the wiring form the engine space to the inside of the car, and specially drilling the dashboard. But we made it, didn't we?
Nebojsa is fitting the fog light plastic housing, together with the wires.
"Red one is ground!" Strange... Shouldn't it be the black one?
Just fitting the main part of the light in the housing and connecting the wires to the bulb.
"Don't take any pictures!" Sure, I won't...
And the first picture of installed fog lights. Don't they look cool?

And here are some better pictures of how this looks like. I must say that I'm very, very satisfied on the result, and the light beam they produce. I would recommend Hella anytime, anyone.

Only the position lights are turned on.

Now, with the main headlights turned on, you can spot the difference.

And for the best resuts, turn on both headlights and fog lights, and voila! The fog and night are no more problem!
