This is my very sweet, one of a kind 9000. It has the rare "super" package on it that was specific to the 1995 model year. I am still not exactly sure what came with that package, but I know the rims did and prolly the leather too.

I have upgraded the sound system completely. I chose to go for sound quality over power. I installed an Alpine CDA-9813 w/the V-drive internal amp and that controls my JL e1200 sub amp. The Alpine powers a pair of Kenwood 4in speakers in the front and a pair of Alpine Type-S components in the back. The JL sub amp powers one Polk Audio 10in in a custom box.

As for performance mods, I bought cross-drilled rotors for the front. I needed new rotors anyway, so I got these that were the same price, work better, and look better too. I also purchased a 3in JT cat-back exhaust because the old one was in really bad shape. I bought an Aero ECU to swap for the regular CS one, and that is the best change I have made yet. (especially since I got the chip for only 79 dollars!!!) I have put over 10000 miles on my car since the switch and there are no problems. my next upgrade is going to be an atmospheric dump valve and then maybe rim upgrade and/or suspension upgrade.

The frustrations of the lpt engine, huh? Enough power to kick around hondas and other little japs, but if you try to crank the boost up she shuts down. I noticed you don't have the boost guage over the temp and fuel. Still 175 hp isn't anything to laugh at with the CS's handleing. Find some country roads and run her real good. It's amazing.

Question: did your car come form Ohio? This looks exactly like the one that i sold when i moved out of state. If so, I was the original and the only owner intil 2003. I have info on the super package if this is the one and you have any history questions. I'm on my thirs Saab now and wouldn't drive anything else.

A very nice car! I just sold my 94 9000 CD in exchange of a brand new 2004 Saab 9-5 Estate, but I'll never forget my 9000. The comfort is really grand, and the engines were once the best four cylinder engines in the world! The styling is also really explisit, and I am sure you'll be very satisfied with your CS!
