Your buddy did a good job of the bodywork and paint - if you talk to him, remind him that I thought I was getting a good deal, so I didn't even test drive the car prior to buying it. Since I don't know much about bodywork, I was glad that he had gotten that done, and I wasn't too worried about the mechanics since he was driving it to work at the time. My abilities are on the mechanical side, and my budget was slim. It is interesting that your friend's name is also Frank, the guy I bought the car from. He seemed like a good guy - I hope all goes well with you. bob

just to let you know i apologize for that and i am not any past owner i just happen to be really good friends with him and again i am sorry... you can remove my comment if you like as i reread i realized that you didnt take credit.. you just said it was done... non specifically... yea i know if i owned it i probably wouldn't give credit for everything to the previous owner and i guess if i didnt know him real well i wouldnt even mention it... either way again i apologize... thanks..

How many of you have ever spotted something and thought... wow that person really did a lot of hard work to get what he has... that person really spent time and effort on that to achieve it... well lets just say that one of you had spent years on a project... and you end up getting it almost 100% done we are saying its 98-99% done and then due to life and its great timing had to sell it because you had no choice in a time of financial need... well i know a person that this story pertains to and well... i think that NOBODY should take credit for something where credit is not due.... i think that someone should not be given glory for things they "say" they have done but really... it was already done when they bought it.... hmmm well not to name any names... cudabob.. but i know for a fact and have proof that 99% of the "additions" or "restors" you have CLAIMED doing... were infact done before you ever owned the car... sure i dont care that you gloat that the car is yours but DO NOT take credit for things you HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH... shady people.... i tell ya.... i tell ya... how would you all feel if you put years of time and effort into something you loved and when you had to part with it the new owner gloats about all the work you did as if he did it himself.... oh and btw your "I recently refurbished the headlight/grill trim. Which do you like best?" that change you did make.. and you set the whole color scheme of the car off balance and it looks like crap.... if you want to restore a car to make it look original and authentic... then you would not have added.... "I put in a fuel pressure guage (Holley electric fuel pump) so I can adjust from street to strip. She's running Accel wires and coil, Bosch platinum plugs, and MOPAR electronic ignition." so whats it gonna be? muscle car for looks or restoration for credit?... i think we both know the answer to that you old fool.....

Thanks for the comments on my 40. You were right, I am a mopar nut and one of my favorite cars all time is the A body Barracuda. Thats a pretty sweet car you have, 340 smallblock, 727 with the suregrip and 3.91, thats gotta be about the perfect combo for fun on the street, especially with those big meats in the back to hook up.
