Now, this car has been sitting in the exact same spot in the garage for roughly 13 years. I know to fix it up, I need to drain all the fluids (coolants, oil, fuel, transmission, etc.) Get a new battery of course. New tires... eventually new paint, cuz its starting to "spider" in the roof.

Im hoping by working at Canadian Tire, I can learn how to do all these things... I also bought a Haynes repair manual, Ive heard they were supposed to be really good. Ive read some of it. I understand most of it. Just need the tools and possibly someone else who really knows what they are doing, who would be willing to help me fix it. My dad is just so lazy, he'll never help me. For the last 3 years, hes been saying, "Oh ya, well get on that soon"... and here we are once again.

No new pics as of yet... nothing has really changed, except for gathering more dust. Yay...

HUrray for Cruise Weekend in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Thanks to it, i am more motivated than ever to fix this beast of a machine.

Just saw a 442 exactly the same as yours For Sale asking $4,300 Need to know if the air cleaner assembly on your car is original, with only one air intake snorkle?I have a 1986 442 with a 307 and it has a double snorkle on the air cleaner. Also does your 442 have a rear anti-sway bar under the rear end ?,this car doesn't and all of the V8 OLDS that I've ever seen have those anti-sway bars. Any input would be great simon '86
