THIS CAR IS NOW SOLD!!!
These are the pictures of the car I took before the next owner came to pick it up

here is my 1969 pontiac firebird
just as it rolled out from the factory. It is a Carousel Red color, made famous by the GTO Judges. Carousel Red was a rare special order color on the firebirds.

HERE IS THE FINAL PRODUCT, NEW PAINT IS DONE!!

It's first car show!

Here is a picture of the car from the prevoius owner. It was missing head light surrounds and the chrome bezels.

Here is the car after a bit fix up and cleanup. This is the SAME paint job that the original owner had, I just cleaned it up a tad.

Numbers matching Pontiac Big Block
Holley 4 Barrel Carb
2 1/2 Dual Exhuast
Turbo-Hydromatic 350 Tranny

I also put 15x7 Rally II Wheels on the Car with 255/60/15 meats out back. The 69 birds originally came with 14x7's, but those little 14's just weren't cutting it.

This is the dirty engine bay from the day that I brought this car home

Here is after I painted the block

Now heres the heart of the beast
looks pretty good for walmart high temp spray paint right? haha. The final engine compartment after a little elbow grease. It's come a long way, hasn't it?

Here is a picture of the interior from the previous owner.

When I first got this car the seats were pretty ragged out. There was dirt and grime all over them. A little bit of Comet Bleach cured that.

As you can see there is a little AM/FM radio stuck in the dash. I was thinking about putting in a CD player to modernize it a bit. But There are two reason not to. 1)I can't afford it. 2)I wouldn't be able to hear it!

The work isn't done yet, I have yet to start the bodywork/paint, check it out on the next page

Production figures (1969):

87,716 Firebirds, all combinations
11,649 Convertibles, all engines
6,921 400 Automatic (YT), all body styles

I have now decided to paint my car. The paint job on it is marginal and a little freshen up wouldn't hurt. I just started on prep work today. I removed the moldings, pinstripes, some lights and decals. I will start the sanding soon.
