this is my chevy pop, also known as corsa in europe or barina in australia.

i got this car in august '98, i figured great fuel economy and cheap spare parts were reason enough to get it,...but it all came with a negative side,... 4 Cyl, 1.4L, 68Hp, which was just about enough to move it's just under 900kgs(since i learnt how to work with Nylamid, fiberglass, and am in the process of learning how to use carbon fiber, the weight has gone even lower), but i wanted to squeeze a little more out of that engine.

now, i've seen clubs all over where people lower these corsas, so i figured i'd raise mine, give it a little extra ground clearance and suspension travel and try running it in gravel. it worked just fine, so now i'm working on getting more power, a 2.0 turbo's on top of my wishlist.

right now the car's throwing just over 111hp (will include charts soon) at 2320m above sea level (about 7610 ft), so i guess at sea level it should be somewhere around 130, and hits right under 130mph (210km/h according to a PFC scanner on the way to Cuernavaca), i haven't spent as much money as other enthusiasts, or even aimed at this being a show car,as most of my friends have done (it's not the prettiest rose in the garden with those fog lights, i know), my only goal was making this fun to drive.

Satiated's 1998 Opel Corsathis pic was taken the first week of january '02, just a couple days after it had a complete paintjob, the lamps still had the standard 55w bulbs in them, i later changed the 4 central to 100w, and the main lamps to 100/130 ultra whites, then about a week ago or so again changed them for 80/100 ultra whites.
