What do you do with a Sony amp?
Troy...here's the amp. 20x2 class A:
Extra car around the house. 740IL with Dinan chip! 318 HP! Too bad this thing is at the shop twice a month.

Here's a Nakamichi amp I'm "remodeling" for member Zeptember to run his 2 ohm Image Dynamics Chameleons. Upgrades include 1% tolerance resistors in the audio signal path, higher guage binding posts for power/ground, 5 way speaker posts, and gold RCA jacks. I will add more pics as I get fruther along.
Now I've added beefier power and ground cable. The tiny stock fuse holder has been eliminated. The chassis of the amp is in a chemical bath, and it will soon take a trip to the sand blasters!
Here are the end panels and the heat sink after blasting. I think they look great!
Almost done, I just need some more RCA Jacks for the line out, and something to fill the other holes.

I was repairing this amp a few years back, and I slipped and took a hit off that large metal cap you see on the front. (The bleeder resistor on it was cracked and non-functional) Needless to say, it hurt, but I lived.
This is my never ending collection of amps. Those little purple Linear Power amps will eventually replace the A/D/S gear. I hope to score another moster visonik and use two of them on two xxx 12's....We'll see.
