The car has been modified by swapping out the front fenders, hood and cowl to 940 pieces. The headlights are 940 European style with clear turn signals. The front bumper is a modified V90. The rear bumper is a V90 with V90 taillights.
The door handles, tailgate latch, wiper cover and rain gutters are all from a 960/V90.
The car is running on 17" MASITALY "Roger" 7 spoke aluminum wheels with crossed drilled rotors and painted calipers.
My goal was to modify the car using later model stock parts so the car appeared to be stock looking yet had a more modern, "European" look. I spent a couple of years searching for a body kit that would give me this look but could not find anything that I liked, so I decided to create the look myself.
Here are a few pictures of the car under construction
Future plans include an adjustable coil over suspension system front and rear.
18" wheels and tires.
I am also starting to work on the interior.
I was thinking of what the car would look like sitting a little lower. A guy named Ben, on Turbobricks, was kind enough to photoshop the car for me. What do you think?
Thought I would add a few pictures of the car the way it looked prior to the conversion
.
FYI: The front sheet metal on the car pictured above is all FOR SALE, minus the headlights and the front bumper
