*UPDATE: JULY 22nd 2005!*
Well it's finalized, we're moving to Alberta, as of right now we're making a choice whether to do one of 3 things with the Corvette.
1. Send it over in a Trailer
2. Drive it, Tow it ourselves in a Trailer
3. Sell it.
We just got a substantial offer for the car itself from a Corvette Collector...an offer that would allow us to pick up a '06 ZO6...quite tempting...but we would still have to ship the new Corvette over to Alberta.
I'll update soon...
This page is dedicated to the legacy and the build-up of my father's and I, 1987 Custom Corvette.

For the past 7 years, since the cars purchase in 1998, the Corvette has been a carefully moving project between me and my dad. Every year, one major addition was made to the Vette, adding to its growing lists of modifications.
Purchased in the summer of 1998, the car was in much need of some TLC. My father started by repairing the damaged body kit on the car's frame and remolding the rear end conversion.
In 1999 the car recieved a custom red/gold/blue, pearl/metallic paint job with god knows how many layers of clearcoat. The basics of a sound system were installed by replacing the component speakers and the head unit.
In 2000 we upgraded the sound system to Earthquake components and a better head unit.
In 2001 was a dark year with the car having to be repainted due to some minor bumper damage and vandalisim. A new custom colour was chosen, as the original colour could NOT be matched. We decided a glossy black cherry with red metallic flake would do nicely as we had some plans for the interior in the upcoming year.
2002 Brought forward our interior plans, with everything being revamped. The original tan and brown colour scheme was dumped for a much sharper (and much needed) Red and black. All carpets, panels and seats were either dyed, rewrapped or replaced.
In 2003 the car NEEDED wheels badly and we gave it the attention it needed with a set of American Racing Chrome 5 Stars. We also set out to find the fattest set of rear tires possible, then again, making our search for proper wheels more difficult as the rear rims had to be excessively wider than the fronts. The addition of 2 12" JBL 1000 watt subwoofers and a 1000 watt Kenwood amp held us over at Autotech. But after the show, we downgraded to only 1 12" subwoofer, but replaced the kenwood amp with a 1000 watt JL amp for in a custom enclosure with light.
In 2004, the Corvette lost out on the attention I hoped to give it. Although it did receive a new JL Audio Amplifier.
I did attend 2 shows last year, but they were non-competition.
2005:
As soon as the cold weather passes, I'm hoping to start on the overhaul I was planning last year. Plans include; the rear trunk/hatch to be emptied out. The work involves 2 new subwoofers, new speakers, and lots and LOTS of custom molded fibreglass. Look out for updates.
