Clear Front Signals

i've done this modificaiton before on my 87. so it was much better done this time.

Simply take your housings out. cut off the front piece without sacrificing chopping alot of the black housing way as possible, and by using a bandsaw. then pry out the reflector, unless you want to keep it in there, its tacked in by glue in two opposite corners. then take it to a good belt sander to make it FLUSH. Now my reflective material was erroded away a little. so I got some duplicolor chrome paint. actually looks like chrome!!!!!. anyways painted that with two coats, first coat didn't think it would turn out good, second made the world of a difference. then let it dry. and apply some polyurothane glue around the border of the housing. and place it ontop of a piece of plexiglass roughly a tad bit bigger than the housing. after letting it dry for 2 days to be safe, take it back to a good belt or disc sander. and sand the sharp edges to the contours of the housing shape. and if you wnat mask off the plesixglas leaving about 1/4" exposed around the border and painte it black, or the color of your car, I chose a dark blue, doesn't match but from a distance you cant tell. enjoy
