RoloX2's 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser"To Do" List - Planned Modifications and Tinkerings

RoloX2's 2003 Chrysler PT CruiserExterior

- Small black/silver flames that augment the "PT CRUISER" badge on the sides. I have them, just waiting for a week of decent weather so they can cure properly. So...I'm lookin' around April then. :/

- Chrome wiper washer nozzles with LEDs, purple or selectable colours

- Underbody LED light kit, green or selectable colours

- I am looking for a chrome replacement for the front plate bracket. Changing the plate's location is not an option (have to keep the radiator, transmission oil, intercooler, and brakes cool!)

RoloX2's 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser

- Factory inlaid chrome grille, not that 3M tape stuff. I am looking for one for sale.

- Paint the brake calipers; black, black metallic, or yellow (see my poll to cast your vote!)

- WANTED: Stock rear bumper molding or rear rollpan, paintable or Tangerine Pearlcoat

- WANTED: Stock lower front fascia, paintable or Tangerine Pearlcoat

RoloX2's 2003 Chrysler PT CruiserInterior

- Mopar subwoofer, it is concealed and will fit the bill. I like the factory stereo just fine (especially the Sirius satellite radio) and I do not want all of that boom-boom crap. No offense to anyone (different strokes...) but I find that to be completely retarded and pointless.

- Install my laptop/PDA GPS antenna just under the top dash molding (I hear it works) whenever I have the time and courage to take it apart. (I have a removable PDA mount bolted under the driver's seat--I can find my way out of a paper bag, but that's about it.)

RoloX2's 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser- :) I would love to have this installed in the passenger seat:

- Install AROOOOGAH! horn with pushbutton to match in the blank panel next to the traction control switch

- Steering wheel spokes: I have the colouring, I forgot to order the billet spoke covers! (Doh!)

- Chrome, flamed rear-view mirror (possibly--still contemplating the "gaudiness factor")

- Billet shifter knob for AutoStick, Tangerine Pearlcoat, billet aluminum, or perhaps leather-wrapped. Something. Anything! The factory one is kind of lame.

- I am contemplating painting my center dash console frame to match the ABS cover/instrument panel covers and body colour. The painted ones with darker body colour look really nice, however, my colour is a bit more dramatic and any capriciousness can go awry.

RoloX2's 2003 Chrysler PT CruiserEngine

- Replace all hoses and cable looms with purple looms. Or just black looms.

- Stage 2 turbo upgrade kit w/turbo toys, whenever it is released

- Straight-through, resonator-only 2.5- or 3-inch exhaust (still researching)

RoloX2's 2003 Chrysler PT CruiserSuspension

- Hmmm...I need to clean under there! (I have the Undercarriage cleaner :)

- Aftermarket rear sway bar (I cannot believe Chrysler removed those from the package!) and thicker front stabilizer bar if it is worth replacing the OEM bar.

- A lower, stiffer suspension. I have not decided what yet, but not too low; I just want to get rid of the disproportionate wheel gap. I am thinking of the KW adjustable suspension (where the heck can I buy it!?). I am tentatively thinking a 2.5" drop.

- Rust-resistant, shiny new rotors.

Gee I hope the stock market continues to do well so I can buy all this s***! :D
