The car has made much more progress since this picture was taken. Most of it is together now and we are hoping to have it back on the road this spring. The floor is in, the motor, tranny, dash, and so on are all together. It is mostly body work now and wiring.
There is a new tranny in there this time powered by a 350ci again, but this time it's a 4 bolt main and should take the abuse that it is destine for. A dual plane Holly manifold with a 650cfm Holly double pumper supplies all the fuel. The motor may not be a 283 but it looks just the same as in the original, with the Mickey Thompson valve covers and so on. This time she's a lot cleaner though, everything is, which is the reason for the new car in the first place.
