WELL THIS IS THE WINTER PROJECT of 04
this is my new 2.3 turbo with some head porting and lots of detailing
This was the donar car 87 5sp turbocoupe
this will be a nice street racin sleeper a nice light platform instead of the tubro coupe t bird
ITS GOING TO BE SO PRETTY
the stock turbo with 15 to 18 psi should get me up around 250 to 300 hp with the la2 computer and 35# injecters
Update april 22 2005 This car has been to the track many times. In 2004 i had the T5 with 3.55 gears and ET streets the best i got was 14.29@98mph.
This spring i put a T3 .63/60 turbo on the car and swapped out the stick tranny and put a C4 in with a 3000 stall.first time out on 235/60/15 radials it ran 13.91@98.The next week i had the ET streets on and NAILED A 1.88 60" INSTEAD OF A 2.3(radials)PULLED A 13.26@100 MPH ON A COLD TRACK I SPUN A LITTLE IN 2ND.
So maybe i might run a 12 sec 1/4 mile with this yet.
