I have looked through your Tracker pic's and wanted to share mine. There is some nice rides on here and people with alot of knowledge about Trackers. I am still working on mine, but I am getting close. I bought this Tracker off e-bay. It was a total and I am fixing it up. I have been painting for 13 years and now have my own shop. Check out the progress and I hope to chat with some of you in the future.

I love the tracker...my mom and I both have 2001's (her's an LT and mine a step up or to from a base model) Does anything special have to be done to the stock grey non painted bumpers to paint them? justinryan@theblueroses.com

Yea, my taillights were the same as yours. I took off the small gaskets around the sockets and used windsheild buttle to seal the sockets and help hold them in. Mine didn't have a gap between the light and the truck. If they are snapping in real easy, you could take and beat the lip where they mount with a rubber mallet. If you go to far in they will not clip. I bought mine off ebay and they were not a direct bolt in. Good luck.

I would like to know if you had to do any mod's to the taillights. I have some altezzas for my 2001 zr2 tracker and I am having problems with them. For one, the sockets are not the right size and then if you would put the light on, there is a gap between the light and the truck. Any feedback would be appreciated.
