This is my cherished low mileage 1989 naturally aspirated MR2. Modded with sensitivity to preserve this wonderful old car's personality. I enjoy autocross and weekend blasts to the mountains, so most mods are "go" rather than "show". Engine wise Senor Dos has a custom straight intake tube topped with a K&N conical filter element, leading to an extrude honed intake manifold down to a port and polished head with TRD high lift cams and stronger valve springs (combined to with a re-mapped ECU the little 4AGE will rev sweetly all the way to 8300 RPM) burnt 91 octane than goes through a vintage TRD header than on down to a English import Magnex cat-delete exhaust (looks stock but sounds glorious) Estimated gains are 20-25 HP at the crank, for a total of 140-145 HP. Suspension consists of Tokico adjustable struts and club MR2 poly bushings all around, makes for a wonderful ride with instant response and very neutral handling, with easily controlled oversteer just at the edge.
Brakes are very good stock so I've only added braided steel lines and a harder compound sport pad front and rear. Recent respray in stock red, generic wheels soon to be replace with 15" or 16" bronze colored Rota circuit 8's and Michelin Pilots, same as I currently run. Interior includes a small Momo wheel, sparco alloy pedals, custom billet ball shift knob, DV camera mount for track days and a passenger floor mounted extinguisher. Up front I've recently installed a Tom's airdam, which beefs up the look of the car a bit. Thinking about a tight Recaro race seat for drivers side to keep me in place on trackdays. As always a work in progress so any future mods will be posted soon. Please let me know what you think!

These are the wheels I've ordered, Rota Circuit 8's in Bronze, 15". On the right is a photo of my custom made K&N intake, eliminating the snake-like and restrictive standard item.
