This site profiles my 2004 Subaru WRX STi purchased on June 22nd, 2003. Coming from a 1999 BMW M3 this car has a higher level of performance, but little of the comfort as expected.

I purchased this car after much debate between:
1. BMW 330Ci/330i w/performance package.
2. Infiniti G35 Sedan and Coupe (6spd)
3. Lexus GS400 (2000-01)
4. BMW 540i (2000) 6spd
5. 04 Mustang Cobra
6. Mini Cooper S (JCW)
7. Audi S4 (2001-2002)
Here is a pic of the car being prepped at Natick Subaru, the first STi they received. The car had 5 miles on the odometer at this point. The intake is functional, a suprise for those use to domestic iron.
Perhaps the best interior feature is the factory black face guages designed by Defi.

Plans call for moderate modifications which have started. First the "Wing" and onboard electronics which needed addressing.
