This is my 1983 Hurst/Olds, which I have owned since December of 2002. It is pictured here with my friend Paul's 1969 Hurst/Olds at a local car show.

For being over 20 years old and having 92,000 original miles, the car is in excellent shape, but is slowly undergoing a restoration. Over summer of 2003, the numbers matching Olds 307 engine was rebuilt by Jasper Engines to stock specifications. The original 200-4R overdrive trans was rebuilt about 6,000 miles ago by the previous owner. Within a few weeks, I should be finished "going through" all the suspension components and rebuilding the rear differential. The car's lacquer paint is microcrazed, but looks great from 10 feet away. Underneath, the floor pans still hold their original factory paint in pristine condition. The body has minor rust under the doors. Hopefully, a repaint and restripe kit will be coming soon.
