A "BIG Thanks !" to all of you who emailed me about winning "Show Off of the Week". It's very gratifying to recieve so many positive comments about my Datsun roadster. I appreciate the attention for my car as well as for ALL of the Datsun roadster owners out there. And a "BIG" Thank You ! ! to the person(s) that nominated my roadster for "Show Off of the Week". Enjoy the Ride!

And now........... on with the show!

My first Datsun Roadster (Thundermouse) was a red 1967.5 1600 purchased in Canton, Ohio from the Datsun Dealer in 1968. From 1969 to 1970 I was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada where I autocrossed my roadster with the Las Vegas Region SCCA club. I raced him in "F" production and did fairly well. I sold the roadster in 1972 when I was reassigned to Germany. Bought a Datsun 1200 fastback and took it to Germany for a four year tour (Great Car!).
Fast forward to November 2000 when Thundermouse II was found and imported from Alberta, Canada and shipped to Montgomery, Alabama.

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!

Love the "Mouse II". I'd like to find a nice roadster for my next project. I've admired them since the early 70's. Mike

Sweet roadtser, I'm working on my 67 1600. Where On JC Whitney did you find the rool bar pad? I bought stripped and installed a factory bar in my 67 and want to get a pad that fits, not just piece some generic pad together. I also like your difuser. I plan on making one out of a fine mesh like the kind you find made into sun screens for your windshield. Get back to me about the pad. Gave you 5 stars!!!!
