So heres my latest update, I lost the red and black car to a total loss, I never got to finish the swap I had started collecting all the parts to do. I do still have my black 87 300zx and I bought a 88SS shiro model as well. I went ahead and pulled the black car out of its resting spot, ripped the single overhead cam out and dropped the vg30det in....well here see for yourselfafter I kinda test fit it in the engine bay of course I had some problems...well to be honest, alot of porblems, the motor mounts didnt fit right (of course). The room between the heads on the engine and the walls of the bay were next to none. And the bell housing didnt wanna accept the flywheel I made for it! so...heres what I did

Very nice, you are very motivated to do that kind of a swap, must be looking for a lot of HP. Keep up the good work, as far as I know you have the only Z31 in the USA with a DET swap. Check out my little toy if you get time.
