well, it has been a while since i have updated. i have the motor in and have been driving the car for a few months, since july 2005. i have everything for the turbo but a good piggyback or standalone. i have found one that i am seriously looking at but have to see if i have to pay a ticket i got last friday. if i can get community service i have enough meny to get a SMT6. also i am going to a 3bar MAP, and wideband o2 moniter so i can street tune with a freind instead of wasting $120 per hour at the dyno. i have taken some more pictures on my blue beast, but havent had the chance to upload them yet. I have been really busy at college the last year.

Sup all. I got some money from the acident so i used it to buy a dark metallic blue 89. It has the SE package, which is pretty cool. The motor locked up on the guy so i bought it for cheap. Im gonna put my KA-T in it.
I have taken the bad engine out and have been prepping the car for the transplant. The engine compartment was pretty dirty. I took all my stuff that i have for my car down to my granddad's shop. My freind Tony, who has the burgandy 92 with the rb20, has been helping me do the motor swap.
I painted some parts and put the bottom end in and also put the head on. I was going to have most of the engine together but the shop gave me the gasket set for a SOHC instead of the DOHC. I am pretty mad about this. I guess i'll have to go back and switch for the right set.
IF YOU HAVE A DOHC KA AND YOU ARE REBUILDING IT, DON'T GO TO AUTOZONE FOR THE OIL PUMP!! THEY WILL GIVE YOU A SOHC PUMP!!! I had to take it back and am going to use my original one because none of the parts places have one. I dont have the money to go to the dealer. My stock pump is good anyways.
PICS!!!
