This is my 1972 Chevrolet Vega Pro Street car. It is set up for drag racing purposes, but it does see some street time. I have just worked out majority of the bugs, and now she is ready for the track.

Here it is. The powerplant. A 355ci small block Chevy roller motor with 12.5:1 squeeze and a big Comp 630 lift roller cam. A Holley 750hp delievers the fuel, and the complete MSD ignition system fires the 110 octane fuel. Dart Sportsman heads with 2.05 valves help give the motor power throughout the rpms. It has a solid, bulletproof bottom end that consists of steel crank, Crower rods and small JE domed pistons. Behind the motor is a 9 inch TCI 4800 converter and TH400.

The interior sports all alluminum that has been carpeted with black carpet. A custom alluminum dash was made with all Stewart Warner gauges. AN Autometer Monster tach sits on top of the dash, along with a shift light and a low oil pressure light. A set af racing seats with covers and five way harnesses take care of the occupants, and the B&M Mega Shifter sits between the two seats. And the 12 point roll cage keep you safe in case of an accident. But we won't talk about that.
A Chrysler 8 3/4 narrowed stuffed with 456 gears transfer the power to the big 29x18.5 Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro tires. A Chris Alston rear suspention that consists of ladder bars and Competition Engineering coil overs and rear end locator have the honors planting the tires.

Here we are at a gas station putting some gasoline in the car. For street use, I'll mix the race gas with some pump gas, and back off the timing so I won't ping the valves.

I'm the guy standing next to the car, and thats my friend sitting in it. He thinks he is John Force.

This is the only sticker on th car. It's bound to get me in some kind of trouble.
