Here are a few video's of the car. Sorry the video is not great quality, but still thought it was worth putting up.

I dont have many stats for my car yet. I have taken it to the drag strip and an autoX race. My fastest quarter mile was in 16.4 sec at 85mph. At the time the only mods that i had was a cone filter on the MAF in the engine bay - Hot Air Intake. I didnt know any better at the time. This best time was when i forgot to fully close the hood of the car. I was luckey that the secondary latch held. - Open cone filters actually rob your power when it is left to suck hot engine air off the exhaust and engine... >>>With everything that i have done since then. Including tune-ups, trany rebuild, all my mods, and a better idea on how to prep and launch the car, i should be able to lower these times a good bit. Factory the car is quoted to be in the upper 15's to low 16's. Since the trany rebuild and my intake manifolds the car Feels much faster. I'm pretty sure that it will break into the 15's next time i get it to the track.<<<

<<<<<>>>>>
[16feb07] New slips tried a few new things... new tune, diff shift points and here are the results:
1st run 14.916@93.85 was in OD using new shift points 1-2 at 6700rpm and poped into 3rd just before the trap.
2nd run 15.026@93.91 car was in 2nd gear... it shifted1-2 at 6200rpm :-( and held 2nd over 7k

Second Run

Scan: Scan Log

Plans for Next runs are as follows:
-perfect shifting... either go from OD to 2nd to hold 2nd gear or get the tune working to hold 2nd.
-Tweak more power out of the motor by retuing fuel.
-Drag radials
-weight reduction. back seat, evap canistor, less fuel in tank, amps, ect.

[9feb07]well the slip is in, also the scan log and video! 15.065@91.5 mph.... I only had one run due to problems at the track fluid spills and someones engine blowing up. For that run, i didnt have time for the car to warmup. i was first up once the fluid was cleared and the car was runing overly rich (airfuel ratio gets bumped for the first min and a half after startup) ontop of the AF problem, i had some wheel spin and no practice launching the car on the track. next trip i should be able to just break into the 14's maybe a 14.99.

[15jan07] Well thanks to my new Aeroforce Interceptor, i have some updated times for the car. I wont trust these Gtech type timers cause they dont account for wheel slip, but here is the data any how. Keep in mind the car is at 155K miles! and is due for: new tires, plugs, O2 sensor, and A/F tuning when i get my DHP Power tuner.

1/4__15.63 @ 90 mph
1/8__10.56 @ 72 mph
0-60 in 8.13 sec

Since these runs i now have: new plugs & wires, O2, UD pulley, P&P lower intake manifold, L67 Fuel Injectors, 2.5" full exhaust, 245 wide front tires, A/F and shift point tuning with Powertuner.

My goal was ultimatly for low 15's and i was am confident that these above improvement will get me into the 15's for sure at the track. WELL the New numbers are in. again care of my interceptor gauge, but even with some tire slip, boxes, 4 gallons of water for my rad change, my big tool box(40lbs), full size tire (37lbs), sub, amp, and laptop! i landed the following times. I also have not hit the limit of my spark advance tuning... so there is more power to tweak out of her! im looking at adding colder plugs, more tuning, and better tires, along with having an empty car and better launch to get me to mid 14's!

Most recent run with scaner:

9.56@73 1/8

Autocrossing is a different story however, although it is very difficult to compair drivers and cars, i did not do too badly for my first time autocrossing. These cars handle suprisingly well for their size. I was up against a Mustange GT and an AWD Talon. - I do have plans to AutoX again. By April 2006 I will be going back to the AutoX and setting some new times. Also I'll be heading out to the drag strip.
