THIS CAR HAS DIED....it is no longer ripping up the roads....

RIP-Volvo on Viagra, may we all remember the good times with this car, the memories that shall forever bring a smile to my face...

Notes:
This is not a race car, and is not raced, so obviously i understand the fact that the engine is not suped up like most cars on the domain...ive done everything myself, except the paint job which i got a great deal on...so no..im not crazy...i just love working on my car and have fun doin crazy stuff to it. Thanks to all those who sign the guestbook

Hey everyone. My name is Ryan, im 17/m/ny. This is my first car, a present from my father that i couldnt refuse...literally...I decided that if i had to drive a stationwagon id make it the most badass stationwagon around. I have done everything on this car completely by myself, except for the black paint job, which was done professionaly.

Heres the exterior

PRE-TINT PIC
Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850 I recentently tinted the rear windows, which was hard as it was my first time, but it came out great.

Heres a pic with the tinting:

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850 I did the decaling and pinstriping after i got the paint job to make it look more together. The exterior is far from done and looks very weird right now i know...

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850 I also pinstriped on the hood of the car, and continued the lines to the sunroof...

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850I have installed a neon lincense plate frame that fades on and off except when brake is engaged, at which time it stays completely lit. It is powered off a control board installed in the dash of the car.

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850 Here is the center consul. The neon controller is the little black box under the silver boost controller. The boost controller is a JDM Greddy Profec-B Spec 2 controller. Im running the car at stock 10 Psi on low, and 13 Psi on high(rarely used). The large box with the knobs is a Wolo Electrical Sound Effects horn. It kinda sucks as u can barely hear the sounds over the engine, and im trying to get a refund on it.(Got the refund, thanks wolo)

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850 The neon controller also powers two neons that i set up in the cargo wagon area...

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850 Along with the neons in the back of the car is my Sub. An Audiobahn Dual 12inch Ported Plexiglass Enclosed 800Watt system (VERY powerful!)

The system comes with a blue neon under the glass, and i wired in green lights to shine into the ports, which gives em a glowing effect...

All together the back looks like this:

The Sub is powered by a 1500 watt Kenwood amp mounted on the driver side rear flip down seat. The amp, which i wired a distribution block too, also powers two blue LEDs under the front two seats that light up under the seats and dash area, an LED behind the arm rest that illuminates rear seating ground, and all the lights in the sub box.

Also in the rear of the car, my latest project, i have ripped off the tail gate carpet cardboard cover to reveal the steel, wires and machines of the inside of the door. Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850

I painted certain components to the cargo area with blue Duplex paint.

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850 I rewrapped all the wires in blue electrical tape, and have wired in two blue LEDs in the far left and right 'Holes' of the door that light up when u open up the tailgate. They look amazing at night...

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850In the front of the car i painted the gauges with blue see-through paint, and replaced the lights with blue tinted blulbs so the gauges all light up blue. I replaced the over head lamps with four Blue LEDs that turn on with open doors, and unlocking of doors..they light up the car real nice...i also changed out the climate control lights and shift lights to blue LEDs

Are covered in custom cut (by me) blue nylon fabric. It looks really good from the outside too...

Lastly, u might have noticed the strange wires on top of my car...those are christmas lights. Most definately the biggest head turner on my car, they are well worth all the hard work it was to wire them up. How u ask?...

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850I wired up a Power inverter to my battery...and put it in the arm rest

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850I then extended the plug so that the control box could be mounted underneath my dashboard...

That controller can change the speed of the flashing lights from ultra slow to super fast, to steady on. After splicing more wires than i want to remember, heres how they look (MUCH better in person obviously)

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850The engine is the stock 2.3L 20V 5Cyl Turbo (Appx 230-240HP with upgrades) except for an upgraded performance KN Filter, and a JDM Greddy Boost Controller.

Heres the JDM Profec-B before and after installation

To keep a closer eye on the boost, even though the controller has a digital read out...heres an ACRACING Boost Gauge
mounted front left dash area behind steering wheel...
Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850

Dudeuh60's 1995 Volvo 850I relocated the horns that used to be in front, because they restricted air flow into the car and through the rad/intercooler.

The lights on the car are upgraded Xenons...and those ugly rims have been rremoved and the original stock wheels have been remounted on the car with brand new tires.
