DOHC Twin Turbo Project:
The DOHC version of the 3.0L engine is out of a Mitsubishi Diamante from a local junkyard. The plan was to rebuild it, mate it to the A-543 transmission, and get it to fit in the Acclaim. Unfortunately funds were running low and the body was just sitting there rusting away so I ended up junking the car. Don't worry, I still have the engine which will soon be going into a '93 Audi 90 CS Quattro so look for it in the Audi section.

wow dog, love the work... 5 stars definatly. well earned. anyway, i too have the mmc 3.0L SOHC V6, but definatly need more out of it, right now om running 150 hp, but hope to have either my SOHC or get a DOHC to run 320-350 hp at 14-22PSI. i have the 5 speed transmission, and it is sporty, but just needs more power. you had a turbo on your old sohc v6, how did you make it, what parts did you use? and im still trying to debate whether or not to get a dohc, how hard was it to fit in, or is there another way to make my sohc a dohc, like by swaping heads, then would it be able to handle a 2 stage 22 psi twin turbo? i really wish i knew more about the engine. please help me
