Well I finally did it, I installed an intercooler in my Colt. The installation went fairly smooth but required a lot of trial and error. For good measure I included a blow off valve from a donor Eclipse.

The piping and the routing went well and although somewhat longer than I would have liked it still integrates nicely.

The difference in the feel of the car was apparent from the first tromp of the accelerator.... Torque and horsepower both felt inhanced.

I believe that the intercooler (an eBay aqusition) was actually from a Volkswagon and although realitively small does the trick for my little 1.6 liter engine.
