Hello everyone, thanks for visiting my page. The site as of now consists of:

page 1: current system
page 2: previous setups

I'll soon be getting many more pics in, some of the car, and many of the system.

Please check out my car audio team's website, which you'll find as dB Fanatics in the links section

Thanks

The current system in the vehicle consists of:

Rockford Fosgate RFX-8140
- This is an old but great head unit. She has a single set of 17 volt balanced or 8.5 volt unbalanced line level outs, and very few bs features

Behringer DEQ2496
- This is a very vesatile eq, with 1/3 octave graphic and 10 band fully parametric capabilities on hand. It is a pro audio unit, so it needed to be converted in some manner or another. At the time, I'm using an inverter, but a power supply is being built.

Coustic XM6
- Nice 3 way crossover. 3rd order butterworth filters on the highpass and bandpass sections with a 6th order butterworth lowpass

(2) Rockford Fosgate Punch 225.2
- old, solid, and powerful amps. One is powering the tweeters and the other is powering the sub

Rockford Fosgate Power 500.2
- old monster amp. I have it powering the midwoofers

Peerless 811815
- These have Peerless's wide angle faceplate for good off-axis response and seem to work well in the car. After much experimenting, I have them mounted on the ends of the dash and crossed pretty high...around 5-6 kHz.

Vifa MG18WK09-04
- a 7" offering from Vifa's MG line. The woofer works pretty well in my case...plays up to 5-6k pretty well and have enough linear excursion and natural extension to play remarkably low in car. Mounted in kickpanels

Peerless 830514
- Peerless's XLS car 10. I have this unit mounted in the dash in what I'm guessing is around .4 cubic feet. I chose it for it's moderate displacement, ability to work in small enlcosure, mounting depth, and price. It seems to be working very well in my case, cut off very sharply at around 35-40 Hz.
