KnockOnWood's 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix

*RIP*
ok unfortunately the car decided to die on me in March...i now own a 89 Maxima SE 5-spd :D i'll leave da pix up on da Grand Prix tho so u guyz can see them

I bought the car in June 2003, and when I got it, it had a couple problems with it. A few of the minor fixes that I've done to it are replace the serpentine belt, upgraded the a/c to R134 (since my old a/c wasn't exactly cold and it was the old type...meaning not much to do except upgrade it...), and replaced the spark plugs n wires. I put A/C Delco Rapidfire plugs and Bosch wires on it, and I've put a custom Ractive Heat Shield intake on it (have yet to get it re-piped yet...its gettin there tho...), and I've replaced the factory muffler with a performance one (3A Racing...I kno...I kno...Pep Boys Brand, but it sounds damn nice...looks good too...dual-tip 3" DTM Style). I've also tinted the windows (limo tint--5%) and upgraded the speakers (Pioneer 4x6z up front and Lightning Audio 6x9z in the back). I have 2 10" subz in the back, but they aren't hooked up yet...I still hafta get that done... The headunit came upgraded...a wimpy JVC 40x4 watt CD player...the sound still sounds pretty good tho...I also purchased slightly smaller tires--Futura Challenger GTH 205/60/R15 instead of 205/70/R15...it makes the car look better bcuz I hate those big tires...anyway, I'm plannin on gettin 16z or 17z...I haven't decided yet...we'll see...

ok, I tried to take out the rear shelf to see what it would sound like, and it made the bass soo much worse, so i put it back in...what I'm going to do now is put Dynamat down between the shelf and the metal, hopefully that'll stop the vibrations...another thing im gonna do is put 2 Lightning Audio 6x9s under the front seats, since up front the bass sounds kinda weak since the 4x6s dont put out much bass at all...im buildin custom boxes to put the 6x9s prolly on the door panels... :D
