We recently installed new GT40-X aluminum heads, Ford racing X-303 Camshaft, BBK metal ceramic headers and chrome Ford Racing valve covers. Picked up a bunch of horse power not to mention a bright engine compartment. Seems like it was truly worth the hard work. Check out last page for this upgrade!! The Pumpkin is back home for Halloween !! There is a lot of work to be done and with the weather changing it won't be easy. Everlast Upholstery did a quality job and the interior looks great. Check page 31 for latest pics.....This page is dedicated to "The Pumpkin", my 1981 Ford Mustang that I purchased on August 4th,1981 from Garden State Ford located on Rt.22 in Watchung NJ. Price at that time was $8300 and was taken right off the showroom floor. The Pumpkin has the distinction of being the first car I ever owned. After years of neglect, and many saves from the junkyard, it has been given a new life. The original 2.3 liter overhead cam engine had been swapped with a 1984 302 HO but due to unforeseen problems a 1986 .030 over HO engine will become the power plant. Also included in this major upgrade was the K member, transmission, Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft and 8.8 rear end with .373 gear ratio. Special thanks go out to T&E Auto Wreckers Avenel, Robert Sr and my fellow IBEW Local 94 Brothers at the Elizabeth garage, particulary Lacell, Paul and The Tzar!! I have included a few pictures that have documented this classic endeavour. Be sure to check out all pages and Thank you for visiting !!

Your car is looking awesome. Nice exterior and interior with the black and red colour scheme. You must be one of those die hard mechanics to be so dedicated to fixing your car in a parking lot. Nice work. Good luck with finishing it.

Nice work so far. You don't see many T-tops running around nowadays... I bet that thing will be worth some bucks when you get it restored! Good luck!
