These are the first pics of my latest project. More are to come as the work progresses. The "True" rust colored car is the keeper. The blue is just too far gone to justify a rebuild. But it is complete, good chrome, fair/workable interior, w/a running 307 (that's gotta go). Unfortunately both cars sat for 12+ yrs.in upstate NY. Yet with new oil, wires, plugs, distr. cap, rotor, and points it turned right over. The rusty one sat uncovered. I purchased them both almost two months ago for $400. At least whoever stored them pulled the drain plugs. The frame is in near perfect shape - no rust!!!

More pics and plans soon!

The only thing good about the blue one is the interior and most of the exterior body. Every single gasket and weatherseal leaked for many years. Therefore the window pillars, and trunk rusted from the inside out. 75% of the entire floor was gone. The frame had two 1 foot sections where it was non-existant, and badly rusted through in 5 other places. I have no doubt it would have buckled if I tried to seperate the frame and body. We have serious salt issues in the winter up here (upstate NY). I've already completely gutted and stripped the blue one. The junkyard took it 2 wks ago. I've replaced one side rear panel, primed the door jam, fabricated the lower windshield channel, and primed the firewall and windshield area. I'll post more pics soon.
