Future mods that my Javelin are gonna go thru

Creepypeter's 1971 AMC Javelin Vasteras, UN Customized with Hooker Header, Accel Ignition, Mopar Transmission, American Racing Wheels, B&M Shift Knob, Sony Head Unit - 36

Engine - Mod nr:1

The old 343 engine are gonna have to go. A 401 engine is on the way! It's gonna get a edelbrook intake. Other cylinder heads and a aggressive camshaft (have not figured out the camshaft yet though). I have found pistons from bulldog racing that are gonna be bought in a month or so. I have two carbs to chose from. A Holley 750DP or a 850DP. I'm gonna test them both next summer. Hooker headers is allready in the car with apple racing exhaust system. I had a supercharger but sold it because of the engine mods required. My goal is to get the engine up to 4-500hp. 450hp would be very nice.

Transmission - Mod nr:2

The tranny I got is a race prepped TF727 with shiftkit and B&M shifter. I got three torque converters to chose from. One Hurst 2000 stall, one noname 2500-2800 stall converter and one stock. The stock one is in the car now due to lack of engine hp etc. A T-10 tranny is gonna be put in for next summer. I have newer liked automatic transmissions. But my girl likes it... :P

Rear axel - Mod nr:3

The rear axel on my car is a open 12bolt amc20 axel. That's no fun. So, I have located a guy that has a locker unit that is gonna be put in my Jav. as soon as I got the money to fit it. That along with traction-bars are gonna make the car a lot more fun to drive.

Short facts on the car now:

Engine: Rambler 343 engine with 2v carb
(have 4v setup but not the gas money required yet)

Tranny: Amc TF727 with shiftkit

Rear end: Amc20 12bolt open axel
