
This is a 1973 Opela Manta Rally. It wieghs 1995LBS + or minus a few pounds

The orginal 1.9 has been bored out to 2.415 and uses camaro flattop 20 over 305 pistons.

The 1.9 head is ported and polished the valves are 1.84 on the intakes and 1.50 on the exhaust side. compression is 10.5.1.
The camm has 430 lift and 270 adv dur @50 with 108 degree sep. Just upgraded to dual DCO webers 48ies and added a roller rocker set-up.

show here with the stud girltle removed. What it neat about Opel CIH engines is the roller rockers have roller tips at both ends.
3.89 rear end

75 big brakes pacakge with slotted rotors, 4 extra sets of sway bars. much biggger springs lowered, 215x50x13 on 7' british revolution racing wheels.

Just swapped the short 1.15 inch header for a tuned 1 5/8th per pipe thick 4 into 2 into 1 tuned exhaust with a super long collector to a 2.5 pipe to a glasspack. Est HP 185


If you are a BMW Z3, 2002ti, 318 or 320, porsche 914 or non turbo 944 you are toast.
