Bad news.... The prelude got totaled!
I was Tboned by a GMC Tahoe at 50 miles an hour, and trust me it hurt. I gotta give props to the prelude though cause she sure as hell held up. Granted shes gone and never to be seen again, but if i was driving a civic, i would probably be dead right now!
Thats right where my buddy was sitting when we were hit. They used the jaws of life to get him out of the car and took him to the trauma room for no reason. Somehow he was fine just a little banged up.
That Tahoe on the right behind my car is the car that tboned me. The Tahoe flipped onto its side after hitting me.
And i bought a civic hatch unfortunately, cant afford another Lude!
Heres the most recent picture of my car. It's a 2001 Honda Prelude Type S. Bought it with only 18,400 miles in June 2003, and it was actually purchased brand new in June 2002 by the original owner. It was the last available new Prelude in the Northeast when my buddy bought it.
As for now it's basically stock, with a few mods, but I'm a full time college student and the monthly loan payments and insurance bills are ridiculous. Give it time!
I'd love to say this is my bike but I dont have enough money for both a bike and my car. This is my mothers bike, it a 1999 Honda Superhawk 998. It rips, twin carbon fiber mufflers, jet kit, lower body kit, and dress up items.
