* B16a Swap ! Next Project for the CRX *

Well here it is....time for another engine. My d16y8 project was a success.

d16y8 mods:
intake
header
exhaust
crower stage 1 cam
AEM Cam gear
Apex'i VAFC
OBD0
Si cable tranny

Now selling it for 700 obo for the whole swap. The motor itself has 50k miles on it.

I bought a YS1 Integra Tranny with new clutch, flywheel, starter, pilot and throw out bearing for 290 shipped. Bought it off a guy on Automotiveforums.
I'll have pics of this also when I recieve it.

I bought a complete b16a block from a guy off of Honda-Tech. He's from Mass and i'll be picking it up with Spec on Nov. 11th. Bought the block for 150! I'll have pics of it when I pick it up tomorrow!

Still continuing to buy parts for my motor swap/build.....just bought an OBD0 b18a1 Intake Manifold with TB, FR, FI for 50 bucks shipped off of the same guy I bought my YS1 tranny from. Will have pics when I get it in the mail.

*searches for 91 b16a JDM pr3 ECU* Luckily I found one on eBay and won the auction for 118 bucks shipped. It has a 28 pin zif socket installed in it, which allows me to run turboedit. Here's a pic of the ECU.

Unfortunately, the YS1 tranny is from an Integra LS. That tranny will SUCK with my b16. I went off and bought a s1 jdm b16 cable tranny for 300 shipped. Here's a pic of the tranny. *waits for it to be shipped*

I finally bought a head....jdm b16 head...on honda-tech..it took me a couple months, but i finally found one. Also, Jordan found a buyer for my motor so he's gonna yank my motor out n' sell it, which is good cuz now i can get my engine bay painted as well. here's some pics of the head...

Jordan, Mike, and other people came by and all helped to pull out my motor. Sold the motor for 550. Then gonna take the tranny and sell to another guy for 200. Here are the pics of the big day! no more d16y8 :( *waves bye to d16y8* damn...that was a good motor too...won many races with that one...

jordan took my motor to 411 and cleaned the damn thing up....the motor is looking good. there's just a lil bit more things to do...then i can drop that motor in..get it painted...and will be driving VERY soon..but not for long unfortunately due to the weather already being fall...then winter :(
