This is my 1993 240sx SE "KA Turbo"!
This was my first 240sx, and the first of many 240sx engines to boot!
A little history on this car begins with having to replace the engine after only 6 months of owning it.
Engine #2 decides it's going to nearly take a crap due to 40 degrees of slack in the timing chain. Luckly, a friend of mine new all about the KA engine CURSE, and fixed it before I ended up on engine #3. After a little bit of proving time, we decided to custom build a turbo kit for it.
Here is a list of all the modifications I did to the car:
Custom Equal Length Tubular Manifold & Downpipe with Flex Adaptor
Custom Stainless Steel Test Pipe
Garrett T3 Turbocharger with Wastgate & Factory Dump Valve
High Flow K&N Style Intake
HKS(J-spec)Super Blow Off Valve

Here's a picture of my Turbo Engine. If you noticed, the MAF Sensor is not infront of the intake, but inline with the charge pipe. The reason I did this was to keep the BOV from stalling out my car. What I realized later was that the MAF was actually reading the air more correctly, b\c it was reading the air right before the throttle body, just as the engine see it. This equals let detonation, but more MAF failures!
The T3 Turbo I got out of a Mercedes 300D Diesel, which I chose b\c it was cheap and spooled very quickly, eliminating almost all turbo lag! It was only like $125 off of eBay. With the increased knowledge I gain from this car, I would have bought a bigger turbo and delt with all the lag. Power is everything!
Here's the Custom Fuel Rail I had made to feed my 370cc SR Injectors. Notice the center inlet and twin outlets. This made for the perfect even mix on all the cylinders. You can see the Sard Fuel Pressure Regulator I bought from Japan.
I also had imported a HKS Super BOV taken from a wrecked 180sx; a Greddy Turbo Timer & Custom RPS13 (the Japanese 180sx) Harness; and my Nismo Black Leather Shift Knob, which is the best shift knob I ever felt!

The Scoop was out of a wrecked 240Z that I found in a local salvage yard on a quest for parts for my 6. That gave the car a kinda vintage feel! And it looks cool as shit too; plus the arangement of it on the hood, sent air flying back right on the turbo to help keep it cool.
Some of the finishing touches:

This is a custom made Nismo sticker, I printed, for the cluster; and custom painted black round tailights.
I loved the fact the the car looked black 75% of the time, especially at night. This really matched the rest of the pieces I painted black on the car. I installed custom driving lights into the stock locations. They kicked ass! I wired them directly to the parking lights so I could drive around without my headlights. That car was mean as hell looking, coming down the road at night with lights only 10"s from the ground. It kinda looked like a supercar coming at you!
Half way through project 240, I decided to stop making a street racing machine, and start building a drift car. Drifting is in my blood, and I feel i'm pretty good at it too!
Although, I still left all the drag stuff on; like the Custom Rear Linelock I made. Burnouts Kick Ass!!!

When realizing that this engine was eventually going to break, I opted for the famed SR20DET instead, but rather than gut this car, I sold it, in hopes of building a car that fit my desires just a little better.
This is a pic of my 240 right before I sold it.
